2007 Charitable Donation Summary
The 2007 Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill donated $221,000 to Virginia civic and charitable organizations following the event. This goodwill continues Anheuser-Busch's proud tradition of charitable support in Virginia.
"To raise more than $1.3 million in just five years is a testament to the generosity of the people of Virginia and it caps off yet another tremendous year at the Michelob ULTRA Open," said Wayne Nooe, tournament director, Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill. "We look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come with the return of the top LPGA Tour players, quality sponsors, amazing fans and dedicated volunteers that make this tournament so successful."
The 2007 Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill raised funds for 19 Virginia civic and charitable organizations. Among those charities benefiting from this year's tournament are:
