Eight of the Top-10 LPGA Tour Players Commit

WILLIAMSBURG, VA. (April 3, 2007) – Former champions – Karrie Webb (2006), Cristie Kerr (2005), Se Ri Pak (2004) and Grace Park (2003) – are just a few of the stellar LPGA players slated to compete in the fifth annual Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill May 10-13.

In addition, 18 of the top 20 and 46 of the top 50 players on the Tour are committed to compete in what LPGA players have dubbed the “fifth major.” The $2.2 million prize purse is one of the Tour’s largest, with the winner taking home a check for $330,000.

Joining the former tournament champions will be top ranked players Annika Sorenstam, Lorena Ochoa, Mi Hyun Kim, Julieta Granada, Jeong Jang, Pat Hurst, Morgan Pressel, and Natalie Gulbis, to name a few (see attached list of players).
