Media Credential Requirements

Press credentials will be required of all working news media. Press room access must be limited to those actually doing stories. Daily press credentials, good for access to the grounds and clubhouse, will be issued to approved members of the news media for the days they will be attending the tournament.

Following is the procedure for obtaining press credentials:

To register for credentials:
- Please complete ONE application per news agency by completing the online application. The sports editor/director should coordinate planned coverage and submit the request as the “Contact” and the employees you request to cover the event as “Attendees.”
- Visit the LPGA Media Credential Registration site. On the calendar choose May and select the link, Apply for Media Credentials, for the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill.
Your application will be processed and a response will be sent by email regarding acceptance or declination of your application. Acceptance or declination of your application will be determined by the LPGA Tour.
If your application is approved, a temporary gate pass will be provided to you. To receive your permanent credentials, you must present this gate pass and your media identification to the Press Relations desk located in the Conference Center. If you forget or lose your gate pass, a replacement may be picked up during Tournament week at the Will Call Office, located at 328 McLaws Circle, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. To receive your permanent credentials you must present this card and your media identification to Press Relations located in the Conference Center.
To ensure parking spaces for you and your representatives, please specify your date of arrival and length of stay.
Our policy will be to close the Press Room approximately 1½ hours following the conclusion of play. On Monday and Tuesday, the Media Center will be open 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for registration. The remainder of the week, it will open 15 minutes prior to the first morning tee time and close approximately 1½ hours following the conclusion of play. Exceptions will be made for Friday “cut” day and Sunday afternoon.
Due to limited space in the Press Room, all photography and TV equipment must be checked in and stored in the designated area.

Reminder: Access to all coverage within the ropes will be determined by the LPGA Tour

PHONE SERVICE: If you require a private telephone line or additional service, please contact the Verizon business office at 800-826-2355. Contact Verizon no later than April 23 to order the phone line and set the installation address for 1010 Kingsmill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Next, to arrange installation, contact Carey Waldrip at 757-253-3952 or carey.waldrip@kingsmill.com by Friday, May 2. You will need to provide the order number and assigned phone number given to you by Verizon.

Please Note: The Media Center and Interview Room will be located in Burwell Plantation Room, Tuesday through Sunday of tournament week. Press Relations volunteers will be onsite, Monday – Sunday, to help direct media to the Media Center location.
